3 BE IN ADDmON TO AND SHALL NOT REPLACE ANY MONEYS APPROPRlATED
4 TO 1HE COWRADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD PURSUANT TO
5 SUB-SUBPARAGRAPH (D) OF SUBPARAGRAPH (I) OF TIllS PARAGRAPH (C).
6 lHIs SUB-SUBPARAGRAPH (B) IS REPEALED, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2008.
7 SECTION 3. 37-60-127, Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended
8 to read:
9 37-60-127. Applicability of provisions requiring funding by
10 political subdivisions of the state. No provision of section 37-60-124,
11 -- 37-60-125, 37-60-126, or 37"96" 103 (4)to (7) which requires funding by
12 any political subdivision of the state which is a covered entity as defined
13 in section J7-60-126 (1) (d:) SECTION 37-60-126(1) (b) shall apply to any
14 such political subdivision if such entity submits the applicable provision
15 and its requirements, including all costs to the inhabitants of the
16 respective jurisdiction, to the qualified electors of any such political
17 subdivision, and a majority of such qualified electors do not approve such
18 applicable provision and its requirements.
19 SECTION 4, Appropriation. In addition to any other
20 appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the
21 water efficiency grant program cash fund created in section 37-60-126
22 (12) (a), Colo1'lJ.do Revised Statutes, not otherwise appropriated, to the
23 department of natural resources, Colorado water conservation board, for
24 the fiscal year beginning July 1,2005, the sum of five hundred forty-four
25 thousand one hundred forty-seven dollars ($544,147), or so much thereof
26 as maybe necessary,tor the implementation of this act. Of said sum, five
27 hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) shall be for the provision of grants
