WATER AVAILABILITY

Method:

The Halfmoon Creek #2 hydrograph was derived using a percentage of the flow data from the
stream gage on Halfmoon Creek near Malta, Colorado (ID #07083000). See hydrograph below.
The winter instream flow recommendation was reduced to 0.6 cfs (10/15-5/31) based on the
water availability analysis. As per the Division 2 Engineer, senior water rights do not present a
water availability problem within this reach of stream.
