The following are updates by DOA and DOW. <br />DOA: <br />The DOA continues to sample ground water from monitoring sites in the Arkansas River Basin to determine <br />baseline impacts from pesticides and fertilizers applications to ground water. <br /> <br />DOW: <br />Bruce McCloskey has been appointed as the DOW director. <br />DOW has merged the Habitat Section and the Species Conservation Section under one group. <br /> <br />Future Meeting <br />The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 2004 from 2 to 4 in Room 719 of the Centennial <br />Building (1313 Sherman Street). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />41 <br />
