A. Topographic Base Mapping

1. Work Map. The work map shall be a line
drawing showing contours and topographic
features or an orthophoto map showing contours
on a photographic background. Work maps wi th
a photographic background prepared by
conventional rectification methods which meet
the accuracy standards described herein shall
be acceptable.

2. Features. The following minimum information
shall be shown on the work maps:

a. Natural features such as
depressions. trees and vegetation.

b. Cultural features such as streets, roads.
highways. railroads. airfields, levees.
dikes. dams. buildings, fences,
powerlines, and other prominent man-made .
features and landmarks.
