The Plumb and Dailey Ditch diversion is located in Weld County, 6 miles southeast of
Longmont, on Boulder Creek. The Plumb and Dailey Ditch Company operates the diversion to
supply water to 13 shareholders for irrigation within the 1,600-acre service area. Flooding has
damaged the diversion and the Company needs to rehabilitate it prior to the 2001 irrigation
season. The average annual volume diverted is 2,278 ?cre-feet. The Plumb and Dailey Ditch
Company is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of
Colorado. Glenn Newlon, P.E. of the Natural Resources Conservation Service has completed
Plans and Specifications for the project. John Van SCiver, P.E., CWCB staff, has completed the
feasibility study with help from the Company and the NRCS. Proposed funding for the project
consists of a eWCB Small Project Loan for $42,000 and a $4,620 grant from the NRCS.
