<br />, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Consent Agenda Item 4-I.a <br />Case No. I-OOCWO 18; Jackson Creek Properties <br /> <br />Application Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for a change of water rights on Jackson Creek in Douglas County near the <br />town of Sedalia (see attached map). The Applicant is proposing that the Upper Diversion, Middle <br />Diversion and the Lower Diversion be the downstream alternate points of diversion for 3.0 cfs of <br />the Jackson Creek Highland Ditch and 2.0 cfs of we Houston Ditch. The Jackson Creek Highland <br />Ditch and the Houston Ditch have appropriation dates of 1902 and 1871 for irrigation. The <br />Applicant intends to continue irrigation, but is also requesting that storage be included to fill several <br />ponds that were applied for in case no. 1-97CW076. <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriations <br /> <br />The Board holds an instream flow right on Jackson Creek for 3 cfs during the surruner months <br />(April 1st - August 31st) and I cfs during the winter months (September 1st - March 31st) with an <br />appropriation date of August 5, 1986, which may be injured by this application. <br /> <br />Po:ential for Iniurv <br /> <br />The Applicant's proposed change in use of water ri!>hts to include storage may deplete the Board's <br />instream flow water right on Jackson Creek and be eonsidered an expansion of use. <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br /> <br />Other objectors in this case include Perry Park Water and Sanitation District, Centennial Water and <br />Sanitation District and the City of Thomton. <br /> <br />L:\ WCTRANSISEcaCase Files\2000\ 1 OOCWO 18_ mem,doc <br />
