DISTRICT - HARMONY DITCH NO.1 DIVERSION STRUCTURE <br /> <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Looking Downstream along the South Platte River through the new Diversion Structure <br /> <br />Proiect Description <br /> <br />This $675,000 project was the emergency rehabilitation of the Julesburg Irrigation District's <br />Harmony Ditch No. 1 diversion structure on the South Platte RiYer, located 4 miles southwest of <br />the Town of Crook. The structure was seyerely damaged during the 1997 South Platte River <br />floods. The 200-ft. long concrete replacement structure, incorporating the use of Obermeyer <br />pneumatic gates to precisely regulates flows, commenced construction in January of 1999 and was <br />completed in February 2000. <br /> <br />Proiect Data <br /> <br />Sponsor: Julesburg Irrig.
