Floodplain Management Program (9:10 -10:10)
a. 1998 Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan
The CWCB staff will propose adoption of a Plan which is designed to comply with
requirements associated with the Presidential Disaster Declaration DR-1186-CO and will
update the state's January 1983 Plan.
b. 1997 Hazard Mitigation Grant Program - Funding
The CWCB staff will present a proposal to transfer any available FEMA or federal pass-
through funds into the 1997 Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. ' This action will make
more funds available for the flood mitigation project applications in response to the
Disaster Declaration DR-11986-Co.
c. Roaring Fork Multi-Objective Study - Implementation
The CWCB staff will present a proposal to contract with the Ruedi Water and Power
Authority to assist with a number of the tasks identified in the Plan of Study.
