The Board requested that public comment be gathered on how to <br />proceed with each of the four applications listed below separately. <br /> <br />1. Case number 5-95CW296; Recovery Flow Water Right Application for the <br />IS-Mile Reach of the Colorado River from the Grand Valley Irrigation <br />Company Diversion at Palisade to the Gunnison River confluence. <br />2. Case number 5-95CW297; Base Flow Water Right Application for the IS- <br />Mile Reach of the Colorado River from the Grand Valley Irrigation <br />Company Diversion at Palisade to the Gunnison River confluence. <br />3, Case number 6-95CW155; Recovery Flow Water Right Application for the <br />Yampa River from the Williams Fork to the Little Snake River confluence. <br />4. Case number 6-95CWI56; Base Flow Water Right Application for the <br />Yampa River from the Williams Fork to the Little Snake River confluence. <br /> <br />The purpose of this notification is to request your comment on whether or not the <br />Board should withdraw one or more of the four applications. Your comments on the <br />viability of alternatives to a state water right, as a preferred means for providing long- <br />term flow protection for the endangered fish, are also invited. The Board would <br />appreciate your written comments by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 1998, so that <br />they can be distributed and considered in a timely manner. Oral comment may be made <br />at the meeting in Telluride but may be limited to a just few minutes per organization or <br />individual depending on the number of persons wishing to comment. <br /> <br />Please share this notice with anyone you feel may be interested on <br />commenting on this matter.
