The <br />motion was seconded by Janice Sheftel and approved <br />unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />River Issues Recovery Program Funding Legislation <br />Start/Stop: 2204 - 2702 <br />This was an informational item, no action was <br />taken, al though it was suggested that this <br />information be taken to the other states and that a <br />different percentage share be suggested that better <br />reflects the actual compact share percentages. <br /> <br />River Issues - Grand Valley Water Management Program <br />Start/Stop: 2716 - 2838 <br />A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board <br />pursue a legislative change in this year's <br />construction bill related to this program's <br />authorization that replaces liFish and wildlife <br />Service" with a provision that gives Recovery <br />Program participants greater flexibility. The <br />motion was seconded by David Smith and approved <br />unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />Tape 4, <br />Action: <br /> <br />29i. Colorado River Issues San Juan Recovery Program and Section <br />7 Consultation for City of Durango <br /> <br />Start/Stop: 2838 - 2987 <br />A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board <br />support the actions of the staff in its position to <br />the Service that either the depletion to the City <br />of Durango comes out of the ALP Project and there <br />is no additional mitigation charge, or to treat <br />this as a new project and charge them $50,000, but <br />consequently not reducing the ALP project by this <br />amount. The motion was seconded by Eric Kuhn and <br />approved unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />29j.
