2 37-60-206. Applicability. NOTHING IN THIS PART 2 IS lNTENDED,
3 NOR SHALL IT BE CONSTRUED, TO ALTER OR AMEND THE PRIOR
4 APPROPRIATION SYSTEM OF INTRASTATE WATER ALLOCATION AS
5 EMBODIED IN THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION AND STATE STATIITES, OR
6 CREATE MmGATION REQUIREMENTS EXCEPT AS SUCH MAY ARlSE UNDER
7 SECTION 37-60-204. NOTHING IN THIS PART 2 SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO
8 LIMIT THE APPLICABILITY OF AN'{ STATE OR LOCAL LAW OR BE
9 DETERMINED TO IMPAIR AN'{ JURISDICTION OF !\NY STATE OR LOCAL
10 GOVERNMENT.
11 SECTION 2. Allocation of money - appropriation. (1) For the
12 fiscal year beginning July l, 1999, there is hereby allocated from the
13 Colorado water conservation board construction fund, to the water needs
14 assistance account created in section 037-60-205, Colorado Revised
15 Statutes, the sum of';' dollars ($ )~ to be ~sed for pmposes
16 specified in section 37-60-205, Colorado Revised Statutes.
17 (2) For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999, there is hereby
18 transferred from the operational account of the severance tax trust fund,
19 . pursuant to section 39-29-109 (I) (a) (II), Colorado Revised Statutes, to
20 the water needs assistance account created in section 37-60-205,
21 Colorado Revised Statutes, the sum of dollars ($ ), for the
22 administrative costs of the basin planning efforts and preparation of
23 reports to the general assembly pursuant to part 2 of article 60 of title 37,
24 Colorado Revised Statutes.
25 (3) In addition to any other appropriation, for the fiscal year
26 beginning July 1, 1999, there is hereby appropriated, to the department
