Forest Service Reserved Rights Cases, Case Nos. 81-CW-220 et aI., Water Division 2.
\ .
I think we've reached agreement of! a stipulation allowing the Forest Service to withdraw the
Division 2 claims with prejudice, on sonditions acceptable to the objectors. We're now waiting
for the Forest Service to actually distribute the stipulation.
,
,
,
2. Forest Service Reserved Rights~ases, Case Nos. W-1146-73 et al., Water Division 7.

The fu\1 negotiating committee met on February 4th. The State and water users had
questions that the Forest Service wasn't prepared to answer, so we cut the meeting short. We've
received some additional information and will be drafting a counterproposal to give to the Forest
Service in April. Once the Forest Service has responded, we'\1 decide whether it's worthwhile to
continue the negotiations. The Board members may wish to discuss litigation and settlement
strategy on these cases with counsel in executive session.

3. Kansas v.
