March 29-30, 1999 Meeting Finalized and Approved May 1999 Mondav, March 29, 1999 Call to Order A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the Douglas County Offices' Philip S, Miller Building, 100 3'd Street in Castle Rock, CO 801 04" The meeting was called to order at 1,15 p,m, on Monday, March 29, 1999, by DNR Executive Director Greg Walcher. Nine voting members were present at the time of call to order so there was a quorum (at least six required), Board members present on this date were David Smith, Ray Werner, Bob BUff, Eric Kuhn, Bill Brown, Lewis Entz, Donald Schwindt, Harold Miskel, Greg Walcher, State Engineer Hal Simpson, Attorney General Ken Salazar, Jennifer Gimbel (representing the Attorney General and alternating with Ken Salazar), Bruce McCloskey (representing the Division of Wildlife Director) and CWCB Director Peter Evans2 Note, While many agenda items were taken out of order due to attendee convenience, these minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference, la, Review and Approval of Agenda and Next Meeting Dates Tape 1, Start/Stop, 0001 - 0145 Action, There were several additions and one deletion to the agenda, which were noticed in the "AddedlDeleted Agenda Item Notice" from March 26, lA complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated staff memoranda are the only legal record of the meeting. These written sunnnaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not necessarily represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Tape numbers and approximate locations are identified for the beginning and end of each agenda item. These tapes are available for listening at the CWCB during regular office hours. Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of specific agenda items may be produced at the requestor's expense. Notes from the meeting for identification of times and tapes for specific agenda items can also be reviewed at the CWCB offices. 2Voting tallies are based on members present for voting. Members recusing themselves are identified.
