The <br />Chilcott Ditch Company operates the diversion to suppiy water to 16 sharehoiders for irrigation within the <br />2,000-acre service area. The diversion was destroyed by flooding in 1999 and the Company plans to <br />rehabilitate it prior to the 2000 irrigation season. The average annual volume diverted is 7,425 acre-feet. <br />The_Chilcott Ditch Company is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered in the State <br />of Colorado. John Andrews, P.E. of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service has completed a <br />Damage Cost Estimate and Preliminary Engineering Report. John Van Sciver, P.E., CWCS staff, is <br />completing the feasibility study.
