(See attached project vicinity map.) <br /> <br />Eric Bikis of Wright Water Engineers - Durango and Brice Lee with the LPWCD will present the <br />Phase I study results at this Board meeting. <br /> <br />The main purpose of this presentation is to inform the Board on the status of this feasibility study <br />and to seek the Board's concurrence to proceed with Phase II ofthe feasibility study. Phase II would <br />involve expenditure ofthe final $87,370 ofthe existing $445,000 non-reimbursable investment. <br /> <br />Backeround <br /> <br />The LPWCD is located in the western portion of La Plata County and was formed in 1944 by the <br />irrigators of the La Plata River Basin. Its original activities were focused on the development of a <br />reservoir in Long Hollow but the plans were delayed by the onset of World War II and have not yet <br />been completed.
