to only one special instance where an irrigation
district down in the San Luis valley decided to
sell its reservoir and dissolve. They went into
court under the proceedings and got a decree
authorizing them to dissolve and sell the reser-
voir. One of the landowners objected and took
the case to the Supreme Court. By the time the II
Supreme Court affirmed the lower court, and it
went back down, they had lost their purchaser
for the reeereoir eo they deoided they wouldn't "
sell it but there wasn't any way they could get
out of court.

So this merely provides that upon another
election by the landowners in the district they
can vote to dismiss the proceedings in the dis-
trict court and then the district court can, if
he finds that it's just and equitable, dismiss
the proceedings which, right now, the judge says
he doesn't know any way he can dismiss."

operating irrigation district?"

"No, it's permissive only and it will only
have a life of one year, or a half-life of one
year."
