<br />,.-J ~ ~,. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />Proposed Board Action <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Continued Staff Preparations for a CWCB Watershed Restoration Fund <br /> <br />Staff has recognized the need for a unified source of state funding for watershed restoration activities. Preliminary <br />, <br />investigations into the possibility of creating a CWCB Watershed Restoration Fund have begun. The staff proposes to <br />present the Board with the documentation necessary for the creation of such a Fund at the November 2004 Board <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />The staff recommends that the CWCB direct the staff to develop a specific proposal to create the Colorado Watershed <br />Restoration Fund to be presented before the Board at its November 2004 regular meeting and that staff present to the <br />Board the program to be supported by that fund. In addition, the staff recommends that the Board direct the staff to <br />take other specific steps that the Board deems necessary for the modernization of the Colorado Watershed Restoration <br />Program. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
