<br />Thereupon, :i:t was moved by Judge Dan H. Hughes, and seconded by John W.
<br />Beaty, that the Colorado Water Conservation Board authorize the creation of
<br />a Policy and Review Committee to make further studies on, and consider policies
<br />in relation to, storage in the Gunnison River Basin and the location of storage
<br />units in that basin, as a part of the Colorado River Stora~e Project Plan,
<br />such conmittee to consist of one representative each from the counties of
<br />Gunnison, Montrose and Delta, one representative appointed by the Colorado
<br />River Conservation Board, and the Director of the Colorado Ga~e &~d Fish Commis-
<br />sion, and the Director, Attorney, Consulting Encineer and Chief Engineer of
<br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and that such Committee is empowered to
<br />make such studies and perform functions, as above mentioned, and prepare a
<br />report and recom1llendations for submission to the Colorado Hater Conservation
<br />Board for final action in the matter.

<br />On vote being taken, the',motion was unanimously carried and declared adopted,
<br />as of June' 11-12, 1951.

<br />The next order of business was consideration of Item 12 on the 1tgenda, "Approval
<br />of the M:i:nutes of Previous Board Meetings."
<br />
<br />The minutes of previous meetings, which -theretofore had not been approv"ed by the
<br />Board, had been prepared and distributed by the Director to the Board members. No
<br />alterations or corrections of suctr minutes were offered by any member of the Board.

<br />It was moved by Dan H. Hughes and seconded by Dan B. Hunter tha~ the
<br />Colorado Water Conservation Board approve the minutes of the Board for January
<br />11, 1951, February 9, 1951, February 22, 1951, May 25, 1951 and June 11-12, 1951,
<br />with the understanding that the action taken at this meeting vdth respect to the
<br />creation of the Policy and Review Committee, Gunnison River Storage, be incorpor-
<br />ated in the Minutes for June 11-12, 1951.
<br />
<br />On vote being taken, the motion was carried unanimously and declared adopted.
<br />
<br />The meeting adjourned at 12:00 noon.
