I

I

.t.177

some other state has other use for it, that
theirs too will be represented. Therefore,
it is legitimate for us to demonstrate in a
statement of COlorado's position what we think
is the highest order of priority.

The other thing that I would like to say
is that the statement that has been given you
here was drawn by the Investigation Commission
with a view to having something that you could
actually sit dOWn with and say 'How much do we
want to change this statement?' It's awfully
hard at a meeting of this kind to start from
scratch and the Investigation Commission had
no thought of endeavoring to impose its judg-
ment on this BOard but rather sought to give
you some specific language with which to work.
I have found two slight inaccuracies, by the
way, but these can be given to Mr. Hamburg.. Would anybody
else on that Commission like to speak before
we ask for comments from our audience? Are
there any members of our audience who care to
apeak on this agenda item?

JUDGE CONOUR:

MR. STAPLETON:

JUDGE CONOUR:

Gentlemen, what is your pleasure in regard
to this matter?"

"Mr. Chait'man."

"Judge Conour."

"Unless there is some urgency, which is
not apparent as yet from what I've heard here
this morning. it impresses me that this is
