<br />465 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />must make the appointments to the Water Conservation Board <br />and replace Mr. Dan Hunter on this Board. This has been <br />a very hard decision for me to make as I fully realize the <br />time and effort expended by Mr. Hunter, and appreciate his <br />knowledge, understanding and experience in dealing with <br />the complex water situation. <br /> <br />Therefore, I am respectfully suggesting that Mr. Hunter <br />be made Dean Emeritus of the Board in recognition of his <br />valuable services, loyalty and devotion to the welfare of <br />Colorado. In the same vein, as Governor, I respectfully <br />suggest that Mr. Hunter be designated advisor to the <br />Water Board, for in that capacity, his vast knowledge and <br />experience will not be lost to Colorado. <br />) <br /> <br />Within a. few days, I hope to announce the appointments <br />to this Board which are now pending. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />DT :mlc <br />cc: My.
