These overhead fees <br />reduce the amount of funds available for recovery activities <br />and impact the Program's ability to accomplish recovery of the <br />endangered fish species. <br /> <br />4. Continued base funding in Fiscal Year 1999 of $308,000 for <br />the FWS (Fisheries Activity; Hatchery O&M Sub-activity) to <br />operate the endangered fish propagation facilities at the <br />Ouray National Wildlife Refuge in utah as requested in the <br />President's budget proposal. <br /> <br />To provide for the continued success of this important, <br />proactive program, we need the help of the Subcommittee again <br />this year to ensure that FWS is given adequate funds and <br />direction on how to allocate its funds for recovery of the <br />endangered fishes in the Upper Colorado River Basin.
