COLLEGE <br />Durango, Colorado <br /> <br />September 14, 1962 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The meeting was called tp order by Vice-Chairman <br />stapleton at 9:20 A. M. <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"Gentlemen, we will call this regular <br />meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board to order. <br /> <br />The first item on the agenda is the <br />approval of the minutes of the meeting of <br />July 6, 1962, which minutes have already been <br />submitted to the Board. May I have a motion <br />that they be approved?" <br /> <br />MR. PETERSON: <br /> <br />"I move that they be approved as sub-" <br />mitted. " <br /> <br />MR. NELSON: <br /> <br />"Second the motion." <br /> <br />NR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"Any discussion? All those in favor <br />will signify by saying 'aye'; opposed - <br />they are ordered approved. <br /> <br />I have two communications I would like <br />to read. One is from our member, W. M. <br />l'Iilliams, designating Mr. R. E. 'Pat' O'Brien <br />of Durango as his proxy for this meeting and <br />I don't believe Pat is here yet." <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"He's in Creede? Then he may not be here. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />JUDGE CONOUR: <br /> <br />"NO, he's in Creede about now." <br /> <br />The second one I'd like to read is from <br />Mrs. Edward L. Clark, the widow of our former <br />Director of Natural Resources. As you may <br />recall, the Board prepared and sent to her a <br />resolution: <br />
