STAPLETON:

MR. BURR:

"Gentlemen, we'll call this regularly scheduled
meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board
to order.

I would first like to introduce to the mem-
bers of the Board and our guests today Mr. Richard
Eckles, the Coordinator of Natural Resources. We
are very delighted to have you with us and look
forward to working with you in the future."

"Thank you."

"Mrs. Keating wants the usual announcement
made that if you're speaking, will you speak
directly into the microphone so that we can have
a permanent record.

I think we should announce in advance that
we have a long agenda. The Governor nas indicated
that he would like to be over here between 1:30
and 2:00 to meet with the Board. I think we can
all anticipate going at least until 3:30 or 4:00,
and perhaps longer, this afternoon. We'll have
to take some of these items out of order to
accommodate the Governor's desires, but we'll
try and make as much progress as we can before
noon.

The first agenda item is the approval of the
minutes of the meeting of June 25, 1963, that
were submitted to the Board previously."

"I move they be accepted as submitted."

"Is there a second?"

"I'll second the motion."
