Delivery: 37,812 acre-feet <br /> <br />cweB Small Project Loan: $1,000,000 <br /> <br />Interest Rate: 3.25% <br /> <br />Term: 30 years <br /> <br />The Greeley and Loveland Irrigation Company (GLlC), and its sister company the Seven Lakes <br />Irrigation Company, own and operate an extensive system of reservoirs and canals in the Loveland <br />and Greeley area. GLlC owns Boyd Lake, the largElst reservoir in the GLlGsystem, with a surface <br />area of 1,750 acres and a capacity of 48,874 acre-feet. The GLlC is applying for a $1,000,000 <br />Small Project Loan from the Construction Fund to replace the existing low-level outlet works at the <br />Boyd Lake Dam, The existing outlet works is in poor structural condition, and deficiencies include <br />significant cracking, holes and leaks, and substantiai sediment accumulation. Downstream of the. <br />embankment the existing pipe is collapsing in some areas. The proposed low-level outlet works will <br />consist of 300 feet of 48" diameter concrete mortar-lined (CML) steel through the dam . <br />embankment, and will be controlled by a 48" sluice gate, located in a gate chamber. The 50 feet of <br />CML steel pipe leading. into the chamber will be enclilsed in concrete, and the remaining 250 feet of <br />CML steel pipe installed using microtunneling technology.
