Section 37-95-107 (8), the Authority must submit a <br />project summary to the CWCB for review and recommendations prior to <br />considering a raw water diversion or storage faCility for financing. As part <br />of our July 1991 bond issue, the Authority is considering three projects that <br />involve raw water diversion or storage. A brief description of each project <br />is provided below. The projects are further described in the attached <br />memorandum and project summaries. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />1. City of Steamboat Springs - As part of a larger project the City <br />is installing an infiltration gallery along the Yampa River <br />upstream from the City. Although it is not clear this gallery is <br />a raw water diversion facility as envisioned under the statute, we <br />have included it for your Board's review. The galleries are being <br />constructed at this time. The $1,175,000 loan will be secured by <br />a general obligation pledge. <br /> <br />2. City of Greeley - As part of its financing request, the City plans <br />to rehabilitate Barnes Meadow and Peterson Lake Reservoirs. The <br />reservoirs are located near Chambers Lake about 60 miles west of <br />Ft. Collins. Barnes Meadow Reservoir will be partially funded by <br />the CWCB. The funding request for Peterson Lake Reservoir covers <br />a portion of the anticipated engineering costs but not <br />construction costs. The $670,000 loan will be secured by a <br />general obligation pledge. <br /> <br />Town of Erie - The Town is seeking funds to rehabilitate Erie and <br />Prince No.1 Reservoirs. These small reservoirs are located <br />approximately 3.5 miles southwest of the Town. The CWCB is also <br />involved with the funding of this rehabilitation work. The <br />$300,000 loan will be secured by a general obligation pledge. <br /> <br />. <br />
