<br />Director's Report <br />March 14, 1995 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />TheFY1995 Capitalization Grant of $9,852,000 from EPA should be awarded by the end of <br />March. With this grant the cumulative amount awarded to the WPCRF since inception in <br />1989 will be $91,519,957. <br /> <br />Leaislation <br /> <br />Project eligibility lists for the Domestic Water Supply Project Revolving Fund (SJR 95-6) and <br />the Water Pollution Revolving Fund (SJR 95-5) have been approved by the legislature and <br />signed by Governor Romer. <br /> <br />Senate Bill 95-83, creating the Drinking Water Revolving Fund within the Authority, has <br />passed the Senate and was forwarded to the Appropriations Committee by the House Ag <br />Committee yesterday. A project eligibility list comprised of 117 projects representing $227 <br />million of need will be introduced in the Senate in the next week or so. <br /> <br />A joint resolution authorizing the Authority to consider funding the Upper Eagle Regional <br />Water Authority's water treatment plant project is undergoing discussion with legislative <br />sponsors. Concerns about Amendment NO.1 (TABOR) and the use of the Authority's "moral <br />obligation" pledge have been expressed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
