These encumbered project funds <br />must be un-encumbered or reversed back into the unreserved cash balance of the Construction Fund <br />by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Controller's Office or they cannot be used for other <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The attached list documents two projects with residual or unused funds remaining from the <br />original appropriated amounts. These funds have remained encumbered by the DNR Controller and <br />consequently have not been made available for new water project loans or non-reimbursables. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
