Review and Approval of September 1998 Minutes <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0321 - 0340 <br />Action: A motion was made by Alan Hamel that the minutes of the September 1998 <br />meeting be accepted as presented. The motion was seconded by Bob Burr <br />and approved unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />3. Directors' Reports - CWCB, DOW, SEO, AG, EDO, <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0340 - 2160 <br />Action: Status reports from EDO, CWCB, SEa, DOW, AGO and WRPDA were <br />heard. <br /> <br />4.1. - Floodplain Management - South Platte River Channel Project Right-of-Way <br />Requests-Colorado Department of Highways - Santa Fe Project <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 2160 - 2518 <br />Action: A motion was made by Patricia Wells to accept the staff recommendation to <br />grant authority to the staff through the Acting Director to negotiate an <br />easement agreement with CDOT but only if the issues raised in the agenda <br />have been resolved satisfactorily. The motion was seconded by Eric Kuhn <br />and approved (8-1). <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />4a. - Floodplain Management - Floodplain Designation and Approvals - FPR Nos. 98-472, <br />c. 98-473,98-474 and 98-471 <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0000 - 0000 <br />Action: During the discussion of 4h. (see below) these three items were tabled to the <br />January Meeting. The motion to table was made by Bill Brown and <br />seconded by David Smith, in FPR Nos. 469 and 471. Both motions were <br />seconded by David Smith and approved unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />4d. - Floodplain Management - Floodplain Designation and Approvals - FPR Nos. 98-475, <br />g. 98-476,98-477 and 98-478 <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 3082 - 3190 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn to accept the staff recommendation and to <br />approve the standard delineation in FPR No. 475, and that the Board rescind <br />the existing floodplain delineation in FPR Nos. 476, 477 and 478.
