The Board further agreed to proposed revisions to the 1995 <br />Ruedi Round II Biological Opinion that would allow Round II contracts to proceed and <br />also require the Recovery Program to pay for O&M costs associated with the water <br />actually used for endangered fish purposes. <br /> <br />Status of Ruedi Round II Sale Contracts <br /> <br />Attached is the letter we received from Reclamation indicating that they would proceed <br />with the 6,135 AF of Round II sale contracts currently pending as soon as the revisions to <br />the 1995 Biological Opinion were approved by the Service. As of this date, the revised <br />1995 Biological Opinion is still pending approval by the Service and no Round II sale <br />contracts have been executed. <br /> <br />Revisions to the 1995 Ruedi Biological Opinion <br /> <br />At a recent meeting between the Bureau and the Service, final language changes to the <br />1995 Ruedi Biological Opinion were agreed upon. Bureau staff anticipates this <br />document will now go out in draft form for a two-week review by appropriate <br />
