<br />The People's Ditch Company historically diverted irrigation water from the South Platte River at an existing
<br />diversion point located approximately 6 miles northwest of the Town of Sterling, This existing diversion structure
<br />was damaged during the flood of 1995 and was entirely washed out in 1997, The proposed project is to construct a
<br />new diversion structure along the Bravo Ditch, therefore eliminating the need for the existing structure, and then
<br />construct approximately 1050 l.f. of 24" pipeline to transport the flow from the Bravo Ditch back to Peoples Ditch,
<br />Bravo Ditch has agreed to allow People Ditch to convey their decree flows through their ditch system and then divert it
<br />back to the existing People Ditch by means of the new diversion structure, The project is tentatively on,hold pending
<br />resolution of the water courts ruling on changing the point of diversion,

<br />This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest of Loveland, The
<br />project consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, construction ofa new concrete labyrinth
<br />weir spillway, and new multi-level intake gate tower outlet structure, The City has contracted with Woodward,Clyde
<br />of Denver to prepare the final design and construction contract documents. Environmental studies have been complete
<br />and the City is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary permits to realign the adjacent County Road, The
<br />design is scheduled to be complete by June of 2002, with construction to follow in the fall of 2002,

<br />contracted with W,W, Wheeler and Associates of Denver to prepare construction plans and specifications, The State
<br />Engineer's office and the Riverside Reservoir and Land Company are currently evaluating alternate spillway sizes,
