All three projects have been completed, The county <br />has also participated in the creation of a water conservation plan. <br /> <br />Instream Flow Water Rigbts appropriated exclusively in this county total 18 miles and 3 stream segments, <br /> <br />This county has seven Designated Floodplain Studies affecting 21 stream reaches. The county has requested <br />revised floodplain mapping for certain floodplain areas, The County has experienced a number of signifIcant flood <br />events in recent years including severe flooding in 1999 that triggered a Presidential Disaster Declaration, The <br />county was eligible for public and individual grant assistance. New Hydrology is being studies on Fountain Creek <br />and a stability study is proposed, They also participate in the National Flood Insurance Program.
