The motion <br />was seconded by David Smith and the motion passed unanimously (8- <br />0). <br /> <br />Janice Sheftel and Ken Salazar were absent. <br /> <br />9p2. <br /> <br />Town of Monument 4:19 - 4:25 p.m. <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop 1910 - 2280 <br />Action: A motion was made by Tommy Thomson to ratify the staff <br />recommendation 1. that a construction fund loan in amount of $94,000 <br />(4%, 30 years) be approved for the Town of Monument, for the <br />replacement of municipal well #2, and 2. that this loan approval be <br />. contingent upon evaluiltion of the Town's financial condition and <br />ability to pay. Janice Sheftel amended the motion to 4. be subject to <br />review for this well replacement, because it is new, are there <br />alternative sources to our financing. The motion was seconded by Jim <br />Lochhead and the motion was passed (9-0). <br /> <br />Ken Salazar was absent. <br /> <br />9p3. <br /> <br />Vouga Reservoir Association 4:26 - 4:50 p.m. <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 2284 - 3102 <br />Action: A motion was made by Ray Wright to ratify the staff recommendation <br />with the alteration to say - a construction fund loan of 75% of project <br />cost, said loan not to exceed $300,000 be approved by the Board, the <br />remainder of no. 1 to remain the same. [1. that a construction fund <br />loan in amount of $300,000] (4%, for 30 years) be approved in <br />preliminary form for the Vouga Reservoir Association, for the <br />rehabilitation of the outlet system and construction of an enlarged <br />spillway on the Vouga Reservoir Dam, and 2. that loan approval be <br />contingent upon the Association submitting a loan application and <br />engineering cost estimate for the project, and submitting a completed <br />feasibility study, and 3. that loan approval be contingent upon <br />acceptance of the plans and specifications for the rehabilitation by the <br />office of the State Engineer, and 4. that loan approval be contingent <br />upon review of the Association's financial condition and ability to pay. <br />5. that the Board authorize a maximum of $50,000 for a feasibility <br /> <br />Draft Minutes November 9 - 10, 1993 CWCB Meeting <br /> <br />9 <br />
