Beaver Park Water Company 1:25 - 2:00 p.m. <br />Tape 2, Start/Stop 1787 - 3400 <br />Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board authorize an <br />emergency loan in the amount of $75,000 (3.5% for 30 years) for the <br />Beaver Park Water Company for the feasibility study and design of <br />emergency repairs to the Brush Hollow Dam. The motion was <br />seconded by Tommy Thomson. Jennifer Gimbel reminded the Board <br />of the parameters of powers on emergency loans. "For projects which ... <br />are determined are ne<:essary to avoid unreasonable risk of injury or - <br />damage to human health, the well being or property or crops. When <br />the Board determines that the emergency condition is not the result of <br />negligence in the operation or maintenance of the infrastructure." <br />Janice Sheftel added that to her motion and it was accepted by the <br />second. The motion was passed unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />Ken Salazar was absent all p.m. Jim Lochhead was absent returned 2:05. <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />A motion was made by David Harrison to add on a standard loan basis <br />to this year's loan fund package $750,000, 3 1/2 percent 30 years, for <br />construction of emergency repairs to the dam subject to the condition <br />that financial feasibility to repay be studies as well as economic <br />feasibility of the proje<:t to be received by the January meeting. The <br />motion was seconded by Tommy Thomson and the motion was passed <br />unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />9.
