<br />A comparison of the lotal consumptive uses and losses as estimated by USSR and CRDSS for the
<br />Colorado River Basin within Colorado is shown in Figure 3. These totals include Colorado's share of
<br />CRSP evaporation throughout the system. As can be seen from this figure and those above. significant
<br />dilTcrcnces exist in some years between the CU numbers calculated by USSR and CRDSS. Much of the
<br />difTcrcnce in agricultural CU is duc to the high-altitude cocnicicnts now being used in SlalcCU. DSS staIr
<br />would like to approach the USHR concerning the possibility ofthcir accepling this methodology into their
<br />own CU calculations.
