The DOW and DPOR documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a brown and
brook trout fishery.
Based on the DOW and DPOR's biological recommendation, flows of20 cfs, summer, and 9 cfs, winter,
are necessary to preserve the natural environmcnt to a reasonable degree. As per the Division 4
Engineer's office, senior water rights do not prcsent a water availability problem within this reach of
stream.

· CWCB staff has conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for
the Board's appropriation.
· CWCB staff has determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environment may be
preserved without limiting or foreclosing the ex:ercise of valid existing water rights.
