~

.

Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District
02CW038

Notwithstanding a busy schedule in July and September, the Board has been willing to

accommodate both Chaffee County and Steamboat Springs in order to review their RlCD

applications in a timely fashion, The Board has agreed to consider at its September meeting

additional information regarding a settlement in the Chaffee County case if settlement has been

reached by that date. It has also agreed to hold a special meeting if necessary to consider the

remand of the Steamboat Springs matter, and to issue its revised findings in that case by

September 23, 2005,

.

Upper Gunnison's case has been pending far longer than either of these cases, and as a

matter of fundamental fairness, Upper Gunnison's case should be given similar accommodation.

The deadlines requested by Upper Gunnison for the briefing and filing of amended findings and

recommendation are manageable, appropriate, and fair, and the CWCB is asked to adopt those

deadlines or deadlines reasonably close to those requested, If special meetings or telephonic

conferences are necessary, Upper Gunnison urges this Board to utilize such procedures,

I
Respectfully submitted this -'!t!..'day of July, 2005,

~7Ju~~a~

Cynthia F.
