These reservoirs are located in Weld County, 18 miles northeast of Fort Collins <br />and are filled by Lone Tree Creek, These reservqirs have a storage capacity of 139,5 acre-feet, <br />but have become silted in. G.M,S, Land and Cattle wants to excavate a total of 105,000 cubic <br />yards of sediment and rehabilitate the upstream slope of each dam, to provide water for its .. <br />farming/ranching operation during drought periods.
