Application Summary

This is an application for a change of water rights on South Boulder Creek in Boulder County near
Boulder (see attached map). The Applicant is proposing to change the points of diversion, place of
use and type of use for the Howard Ditch, Dry Creek No.2 Ditch and Cottonwood No.2 Ditch.
The Applicant proposes that the Community Ditch, the City of Lafayatte Pipeline and the City of
Lousiville Pipeline be alternate points of diversion for the Howard Ditch, Dry Creek No.2 Ditch
and Cottonwood No. 2 Ditch. In addition, the Applicant proposes that the Howard Ditch, Dry
Creek No.2 Ditch and Cottonwood No.2 Ditch be alternate points of diversion to each other. The
Applicant proposes to change the type of use to include all municipal uses within the city of
Louisville's service area.

rights on South Boulder Creek.
