<br />Consent Agenda Item 4-3.g. <br />Case No. 3-99CW047; South Fork Ranches . <br /> <br />Application Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for a plan for augmentation, change and exchange of water rights on the <br />Rio Grande, South Fork of the Rio Grande, Bear Creek and Alder Creek near the town of South <br />Fork in Rio Grande County (see attached map). In this application, the Applicant proposes to <br />augment out-of-priority depletions associated with a Planned Unit Development located on <br />approximately 2,000 acres and consisting of 1,153 dwelling/motel/commercial units and a golf <br />course. The Applicant proposes to augment the Alder Creek Diversion, SFR Well Nos. 1-4 and <br />up to 39 addition wells using consumptive use credits and/or releases from the following <br />augmentation sources: South Fork Highline Ditch, Cleghorn Ditch, Grubb Ditch Nos. 1-3, <br />Bassett Ditch, Chadwick Ditch No.1, Alder Creek Ditch Nos. 1-3, Ice Pond, Rio Grande <br />Reservoir and Excess Credits from Case No. 3-86CW030. In addition, the Applicant proposes <br />that the Alder Creek Diversion bean alternate point of diversion for Alder Creek Ditch Nos. 1-3 <br />at a rate of 1. 78 cfs (800 gpm). The Applicant ptoposes to irrigate lands for a golf course, which <br />is in the approximate location of the lands irrigated under the Alder Creek Ditch Nos. 1-3.
