The overall
budget for the project is $215,600, which includes financial participation from several other entities,
as well as in-kind services.

The project is being supervised by John Wilkins-Wells, of Colorado State University. To-date much
of the inventory and mapping work has been completed, several field demonstration tile sites have
been cleaned, and a study advisory committee has been formed. In addition, several committee
members participated in a study tour of a well-established irrigation district in Pasco, Washington, to
view its drainage operation, maintenance practices, and record-keeping systems. Project personnel
will provide the Board with an update of the tile drain mapping project and recent tile drain jet
cleaning activities, as well as discuss upcoming activities related to benefit-cost analysis of drainage
system rehabilitation, and exploring possible drainage district consolidation.

e

Flood Protection.
