(2) Water used from the water bank. which is in <br />excess of a farmers allocation, is priced at higher rates <br />than water used within their allocation. The higher price <br />is on a sliding scale, which increases with increased use. <br />(3) The additional revenue (above the cost of the water) <br />generated by the higher price is refunded to the irrigators <br />who use less than their allocation. The noti- <br />fication includes the amount of overuse, if any, the price <br />of the overuse in relation to the sliding scale price. Spe- <br />cial attention is noted if the individual is approaching the <br />"maximum cap shut off". <br />
