The Chairman and the <br />Director of the CWCB have contacted Corps officials to ask that they reconsider this ill-advised decision. We are <br />asking that any decision be delayed pendfug thorough discussions jwith the State and affected water users BEFORE <br />determining whether to re-open the permit. The Corps has also ~en asked to appear before the CWCB at its <br />September 24-25 ~eeting in Cortez to explain the situation and l$Wer questions from the board and the public. <br /> <br />We wanted to alert you to this situation, As always We akreciate your interest and leadership on <br />Colorado water issues.
