Consultant will form a TRT in each technical area <br /> <br />Task 2.2 Water Efficiency Technical Support Task <br /> <br />Purpose and Approach <br />One of the key purposes of the Water Efficiency TRT will be to reach consensus on the <br />technical, legal, political, financial, social, and institutional issues associated with the <br />options listed below and their potential role in meeting future water needs. <br /> <br />. Active M&I Conservation Measures, including measures such as (but not limited <br />to): <br />Metering <br />Increasing water rate pricing <br />Rebates for efficient water using appliances <br />Incentives for reducing high water use landscaping <br />Restrictions on amount of lawn area <br /> <br />. Agricultural Efficiency Measures, including measures such as (but not limited to): <br />Ditch lining <br />Conversion of flood irrigation to gated pipe <br />Installation of sprinklers <br /> <br />. Phreatophyte Control <br /> <br />Potential benefits and issues of these options were presented in the SWSI Executive <br />Summary and Chapter 8. These benefits and issues will be discussed and further <br />refined as part of the TRT process taking into consideration unique practices and <br />needs of each basin. <br /> <br />Assumption/Basis of Cost <br />. Level of effort on the technical work to support the Water Efficiency TRT will be <br />directed by the CWCB staff and board <br /> <br />Summary of Deliver abies <br />. The SWSI Report will be amended to incorporate work from this task <br /> <br />Task 2.3 Alternative Agricultural Transfer Technical Support Task <br /> <br />Purpose and Approach <br />One of the key purposes of the Altemative Agricultural Transfer TRT will be to reach <br />consensus on the technical, legal, political, financial, social, and institutional issues <br />associated with the options listed below and their potential role in meeting future <br />water needs. <br /> <br />.
