Proj ect design and implementation bring the process to a <br />conclusion (given that ongoing maintenance and repair will always be necessary). Feasibility <br />studies represent the middle phase of the process, between GIS inventories and reconnaissance <br />studies at the beginning and design and implementation at the end. Given the relatively short <br />time that the CWCB has been involved in stream restoration studies and projects, it is to be . <br />expected that many of the projects are in the initial phases. Staff has found that in some cases <br />it is possible to consolidate the initial and middle phases in a single study, thereby moving <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
