Standards for Delineation of De"ailed Floodolain Information: To <br />qualify as detailed floodplain information, the standards of this <br />rule with consideration of the effects of dams and levees being <br />subjec~ to the criteria of rules 7 and ~, respectively, must be. met. <br /> <br />A. Topographic Base Mapping <br /> <br />1. Work MaD. The work map shall be a line. drawing showing <br />contours and topographic features or an orthophoto map <br />showi ng contours on. a photog'raphi cbackground. Work maps <br />with a photographic background prepared by conventional <br />rectification methods which meet the accuracy standards <br />described herein shall be acceptable. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Feat.v~~!: . The following minimum information shall be <br /> shown on the.work maps: <br /> a. Natural features such as hills, depressions, trees and <br /> vegetation. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Cultural features such as streets, roads, <br />railroads, airfields, levees, dikes, dams, <br />fences. . powerl ines. and other promi nent <br />features.and landmarks; <br /> <br />highways, <br />buil di ngs, <br />man-made <br /> <br />c. Hydrologic' features' such as rivers, streams, lakes, <br />reservoirs, irrigation ditches, canals, and channels <br />(including. both banks of a stream). . <br /> <br />d.
