The Applicant seeks to use this water right for non- <br />consumptive uses for the purposes of maintaining a flow in the Rocky Ford Ditch and preserving <br />water quality within the ditch for the benefit of the Applicant as a shareholder. The Application <br />states: "None of the water so delivered may be diverted form the Rocky Ford Ditch or from Timpas <br />Creek, but the water may be used for any non-consumptive beneficial use..." The location of this <br />diversion is in Otero County (see attached map). <br /> <br />CWCB Appro,priations <br /> <br />N/A. <br /> <br />Potential for Inhu:y <br /> <br />The Board is the sole entity that is permitted by law to hold instream flow water rights between <br />specific points to protect the environment to a reasonable degree.
