<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1 appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board <br />2 construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water <br />3 conservation board, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, the sum of <br />4 one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000), or so much thereof <br />5 as may be necessary, for the installation and maintenance of stream gages <br />6 to monitor and administer Colorado water conservation board-decreed <br />7 . instream flow water rights in conjunction with the satellite monitoring <br />8 system. <br />9 (3) The moneys appropriated in subsections (1) and (2) of this <br />10 section shall remain available for the designated purposes until the project <br />11 is completed. <br />12 SECTION 6. Dual water system study. appropriation. <br />13 (1) The Colorado water conservation board is hereby authorized to <br />14 participate in a study to assess the benefits and costs of pressurized dual <br />15 water systems in Colorado, concentrating on northeastern Colorado, <br />16 particularly water districts 1 through 6 in Larimer and Weld counties. The <br />17 purpose of the study will be to evaluate raw water delivery for outside <br />18 irrigation, thus reducing the summer demand on treated water systems. <br />19 The study will provide an evaluation of two agricultural water providers' <br />20 potential for dual water system development. <br />21 (2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby <br />22 appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board <br />23 construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water <br />24 conservation board for allocation to the Colorado institute for irrigation <br />25 management - Colorado state university, the sum of one hundred thirty-six <br />26 thousand one hundred thirty-one dollars ($136,131), or so much thereof <br />27 as may be necessary, for evaluating the raw water delivery systems for <br /> <br />-7- <br /> <br />SBOI-157 <br />
