""J <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />6, FPR 00-536: Boulder County and Incorporated Areas, Flood Insurance Study dated June <br />1995_ It includes both approximate and detailed floodplain delineations for numerous flooding <br />sources within unincorporated and incorporated portions of the county, Several communities in <br />the county expressed concerns regarding CWCB designation of the floodplain information (i,e, <br />Lafayette, Louisville, and Superior), Meetings will be held with those communities and any <br />others that would like to discuss floodplain issues, The proposed action for the Boulder County <br />(and incorporated areas) floodplain information is designation and approval by the Board in <br />order to meet statutory requirements, Specific stream reaches will be excluded from the <br />designation based on community feedback during upcoming meetings, The CWCB is also <br />preparing a new floodplain information report to provide technical information to support the <br />approximate floodplains shown on the 1995 Flood Insurance Rate Maps, <br /> <br />7, FPR 00-537: Town of Wiley, Flood Insurance Rate Map dated October 2000, A new Flood <br />Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) was prepared by FEMA that shows approximate floodplain <br />delineations for the Wiley Drainage Ditch within the incorporated portions of the Town of <br />Wiley_ Local officials agree with the new floodplain mapping and requested the CWCB to <br />officially adopt the map, Therefore, the proposed action for Wiley's floodplain map is <br />designation and approval by the Board in order to meet statutory requirements, The CWCB has <br />also prepared a new floodplain information report to provide technical information to support <br />the October 2000 floodplain map, <br /> <br />RECOMMENDA nONS <br />The approximate and detailed floodplain information being considered for designation and approval <br />as outlined in Resolutions Nos, 00-531 through 00-537 meets the applicable requirements of the <br />Board's "Floodplain Designation and Approval Rules", therefore designation and approval is <br />. recommended for those 7 resolutions, <br /> <br />PROPOSED MOTION <br />The Board, having reviewed this memorandum regarding resolution Nos_ 00-531 through 00-537, <br />now moves as follows: <br /> <br />L To designate and approve as detailed and approximate 100-year floodplain information the <br />subject reports/maps for Resolution Nos, 00-531, 00-534, 00-35, and 00-536, <br />2, To designate and approve as approximate 100-year floodplain information the subject <br />maps/reports for Resolution Nos, 00-532, 00-533, and 00-537, <br />3, To rescind floodplain delineations shown on the 1974 Flood Hazard Boundary Map for the <br />Town of Norwood with the exception of Ed Joe Draw for Resolution No, 00-533, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Flood Protection. Water Project Planning and Financing. Stream and Lake Protection <br />Water Supply Protection. Conservation Planning <br />
