<br />3. About 8.27 million acre-feet were released to the Lower <br />Basin during water year 1974. During WY 1975, about <br />8.6 million acre-feet will be released. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />4. Inflow to Navajo Reservoir during WY 1974 was 271,000 <br />acre-feet, or 32 percent of the long-time average. <br />Maximum elevation 6,035 feet will be drawn down during <br />the winter months to elevation 6,027 feet. <br /> <br />5. Flaming Gorge Reservoir filled to capacity on August 1, <br />1974, with a live surface storage of 3,750,000 acre-feet <br />and an elevation of 6,040 feet will be drawn down to <br />about 6,027 feet. <br /> <br />6. Blue Mesa Reservoir has 532,000 acre-feet of live storage <br />at elevation 7,483 feet. Reservoir should recede to <br />elevation 7,454 ,feet with an active content of 340,000 <br />acre-feet by the time of spring runoff. Morrow Point <br />Reservoir will be operated at or near full regardless of <br />the amount of snowmelt runoff, as inflow is largely <br />controlled by Blue Mesa Reservoir. <br /> <br />II. POWER MARKETING <br /> <br />A. Power Marketing Outlook <br /> <br />1. The Bureau has limited its obligations to those presently <br />under contract through 1975-76 winter season. <br /> <br />2. The Bureau is marketing varying amounts of short-term <br />peaking power on a month-to-month basis. <br /> <br />3. All deliveries to nonpreference customers terminate by <br />April 1, 1975. <br /> <br />4. Southern division customers have been advised of with- <br />drawal after Ma~ch 1976. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />B. Colorado Power Mar.keting Items <br /> <br />1. 19 Colorado cities and REA's have contracted for about <br />325,000 kw of storage project power. This is about 25 <br />percent of the CRSP output. <br /> <br />2. The Bureau has joined Colorado-Ute, REA, Tri-State REA, <br />Platte River Power Authority, Public Service of Colorado, <br />and Salt River Project in the inland power pool agreement <br />to better serve customers in this area. <br /> <br />C. Power Revenues in CRSP <br /> <br />1. Cumulative revenue through December 1974 is estimated <br />to be $245 million. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
