I called Senator <br />Allott's office before I left and arranged <br />for his staff to make appointments for me <br />with Senator Fannin of Arizona, Senator <br />RUchel of California, Congressman Hosmer of <br />California, and with all members of Colorado's <br />congressional delegation. Those appointments <br />were set up. <br /> <br />I first went to the Senate to try to <br />determine what type of legislation the state <br />of Arizona would be introducing to authorize <br />the Central Arizona project.
